Is this just ChatGPT?
No. ChatGPT is a chat website. ScreenAnswer is a Windows app: highlight on-screen text, hotkey, short overlay answer without leaving your page.
Do I pay for AI separately?
You pay for a ScreenAnswer license. AI uses your free Groq API key. You don’t need paid OpenAI API billing for the default path. Free tiers can rate-limit occasionally.
Mac or phone?
Currently Windows 10/11 64-bit only.
Internet required?
Yes — for activation checks and AI answers.
Can AI be wrong?
Yes. AI can be incomplete or incorrect. Confidence scores help; verify anything important.
School / exam rules?
You are responsible for following your school, workplace, and exam policies. ScreenAnswer is positioned for educational and productivity use.
App says already running
Use tray → Exit, or Task Manager → end ScreenAnswer, then open it again.
Stealth mode — how do I quit?
Task Manager, or Command Prompt: taskkill /F /IM ScreenAnswer.exe
Where is my license key?
In the customer portal after you register and claim/purchase, or from your seller if you bought offline.
